My overall rating of the CBDistillery brand is excellent. CBDistillery provides an excellent experience from start to finish. One of the main drivers for this decision is that the company offers very high quality products ranging from oils to topicals. They even have a line of pet products! Another important driver is the transparency of their product line. CBDistillery recently implemented a new labeling procedure designed to easily and clearly display each product’s CBD content. The new labels more clearly show the FDA and medical disclaimer statements as well as the ISO 9001: 2015 certification seal. The labels better display the overall total CBD content of each product and have easy icons to further describe the product such as icons for gluten-free, non-GMO, etc. The labels also have a much more detailed suggested use section and they even have a QR code right on the label so people can track their CBD batch.
Each product also comes with informational inserts that provide numerous company insights regarding the benefits of CBD.
CBDistillery’s website explains to consumers that the company prides itself on quality in their entire process, starting with hemp farming and sourcing to the manufacturing process to their independent third-party lab results. They do grow their hemp in a variety of states including Colorado, Oregon, Kentucky. It is grown outdoors and is pesticide-free and non-GMO. The company is a local Colorado company so all of the products are manufactured locally in Colorado.They do use organic practices but they are not USDA certified.
CBDistillery offers a wide range of products; capsules, oils, isolates and topicals at a variety of price points that are friendly to every wallet. Oils for example range from 0.04 cents to 0.08 cents per milligram, moderately priced when compared to other brands in the market.

Manufacturing Process
CBDistillery products are derived from hemp grown in Colorado. One of the main reasons for this is the quality used by U.S. farmers, who adhere to the highest cultivation standards for hemp plants. CBDistillery guarantees their CBD oils are pesticide-free and they obtain lab testing to determine the THC content. The full spectrum products are guaranteed to have less than 0.3 percent THC, and the company also makes a THC free product line .
I compared the lab report and label of the CBDab product and there was indeed a one-to-one comparison, so the transparent labeling is a real thing for CBDistillery. The extraction process pulls the oil from the flowers and stalks, isolating the CBD molecules. During the process, most THC is eliminated in the full spectrum products, leaving a relativey pure CBD extract. Specifically, CBDistillery uses the carbon dioxide (CO2) extraction method which provides excellent and consistent extraction without leaving any harmful solvents in the extract.
In general, CBD products can be isolates, broad spectrum or full spectrum products. CBDistillery offers all 3. Isolates provide pure CBD which has been isolated during the extraction process. Broad spectrum products have no THC and full spectrum products contain not only CBD but other cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids found in hemp. Typical full spectrum cannabinoids include cannabidiol acid (CBDA), cannabidivarin (CBDV), cannabichromene (CBC), cannabigerol (CBG) and cannabinol (CBN). Scientists know that cannabinoids work together in manner called the entourage effect, so full spectrum products offer the benefits of extra cannabinoids. Additionally, terpenes offer stress relief and mood enhancement, and flavonoids are powerful antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents.
Unfortunately, one of the biggest issues in the cannabis market right now is the glut of inferior products that have flooded the market. Some oils don’t contain the ingredients or dosage they claim to contain, and some tests conducted on CBD oils have revealed high THC levels or even toxins and pesticides.
The company has pursued some industry specific certifications that do lend further credibility. First, they are a member of the National Hemp Association (NHA), a non-government organization (NGO) that serves as an advocate and champion for stringent industry standards regarding raw hemp cultivation and processing. In addition, they are GMP certified. However, the company is not USDA certified. There was no information supplied regarding why they haven’t pursued these certifications in the past or whether they are currently pursuing these certifications. Obtaining such certifications would give the company more credibility as an organic hemp grower and would enhance consumer confidence in their manufacturing practices.
CBDistillery also uses reputable, independent third-party labs that regularly test their products. The lab utilized is ProVerde Laboratories, based in Massachusetts and Maine. ProVerde echoes what CBDistillery says about the “many hemp-based products sold on the market that have little to no cannabidiol (CBD).” ProVerde tests for CBD purity as well as screening for other contaminants like molds, pesticides and even heavy metals that can be found in inferior CBD products.

Buying Experience
The buying process is very easy and straightforward. CBDistillery online sales are convenient. In fact, they offer online sales of CBD oil and other products and ship them to all 50 U.S. states.
The product box arrived quickly. I ordered it online, my payment was processed quickly, and shipped within 48 hours of placing the order. CBDistillery shipped via UPS Ground service which delivered the products in about five days. As soon as the package shipped, I received a UPS tracking number so I could check for delivery date and time. I wanted to be sure I was home when it was delivered, given that I live in a hot part of the country and did not want the product to stay outdoors on my front porch too long.
I ordered several products: full spectrum CBD oil, pet CBD, CBD gummies, CBD 25mg capsules, and CBD topical salve. The products were all nicely packaged. What I really liked was that immediately upon opening my box, there was a product card that explained the label and packaging. Prominently displayed was the FDA statement and medical disclaimer.
Regarding help, I had one question about the pet CBD product regarding specific conditions that could be treated by their formulation. I got online and contacted customer service. The company promises to answer within one or two business days, and I was pleasantly surprised when they got back to me immediately. They clarified the product I was inquiring about, and clearly stated they could not make any medical claims, but referred me to their extensive help section to find out more about pet CBD.

As mentioned, I ordered several products, and here is my review of each.
CBDol Topical Cream review
The CBDol topical salve is a 500mg salve designed to rub in to areas that experience aches and pains. The cream had a very pleasant minty smell; it smelled natural and not at all overpowering. The ingredients are pure and there is nothing artificial. The cream felt a bit like petroleum jelly but thinner.
CCell Vape Pen review
I had been wanting to try CBD in vape pen form, but was a bit reluctant given all the bad news lately about vaping. I ordered the lavender and vanilla vape pens with 200mg of CBD. The pen was much easier to use than I thought it would be. I just opened the package and took out the pen which was ready to go. There were no messy cartridges or assembly of anything, which was great.
The CCell vape pen has a ceramic element in its core which creates an optimal environment for vaporization of the e-liquid. I was fairly hesitant to try e-liquids given all the negative press lately, but after reading the label and discovering that the oil is all natural food-grade CBD, I was no longer worried. I had peace of mind knowing that the pen was not loaded with harmful items like MCT or PG or VG. It is also free of GMOs and pesticides.
CBDab (CBD Powder) review
I was just as curious about vaping as I was about CBDab CBD Powder. A dab is pure CBD isolate. This one is deemed 99+% pure just like an isolate and can be used as a dab or edible to get a daily dose of CBD. There are 1000mg of CBD per gram of the powder, and while the company does not recommend a dosage, they instruct the consumer to mix their desired dosage with a beverage.
I compared the label which said 99% isolated CBD from industrial hemp with the lab results and there was an exact match. Even better, the QR code on the label took me right to the lab result for that batch. This is a very nice feature.
CBD Gummies review
The 30mg gummies were probably my favorite product. The taste was very fruity and delicious with several flavors available including lemon, strawberry and raspberry. The taste is great despite the low sugar content of 1 gram per gummy. These gummies are made from 99% pure CBD isolate. They even sell a “gummies after dark” nighttime version that contains added melatonin to help people fall asleep more easily. I should also mention that these are vegan which is important to people who are on that diet.
CBD Capsules review
I tried the CBD full spectrum capsules in 25 mg potency. I judged the price to be somewhat reasonable. I don’t really like taking capsules of any kind because so often they are difficult to swallow. These capsules were not difficult at all. They come in the softgel form, which is very easy to swallow.
CBD Full Spectrum Oil (33mg) review
I had heard and read that the 33mg CBD oil tincture was CBDistillery’s most popular product and it didn’t disappoint. It is a 1000mg formulation that is easy to use on a daily basis. Each serving gives you a recommended 30-60mg dose of daily CBD. It’s full spectrum, too, so it contains other plant proteins and cannabinoids so that you can benefit from the entourage effect. CBDistillery tinctures are guaranteed to have less than 0.3% THC. The oil is actually extracted from aerial plant parts. At $60 for the bottle, the price per mg is 6 cents, which is fairly reasonable for such a high potency oil.
CBD Pet review
Wow, was I happy to try CBD for pets. I ordered the pet tincture, which is a full spectrum 5mg tincture specifically formulated for pets. I have a dog who is a picky eater. She smells all her food before eating even if she eats the same thing every day, so I was worried how she would react. She loved both the taste and smell of this pet CBD.
Pet dosing is always a concern, especially for me. Although I have a big dog, I worry about giving her either too much or too little. This product comes in a 30ml bottle. This is the 150mg product that contains 5mg of CBD per serving. CBDistillery’s entire pet line is formulated taking into consideration pets of different sizes. Their dosing was very clear on both the box and the bottle. The company also offers a 20mg/serving full spectrum CBD product that works out to about 6 cents per mg.
