Hemp Bombs Interview at the Miami USA CBD Expo

Leafreport – Courtney Quinn: Hi, my name is Courtney Quinn, here with Leaf Report at the USA CBD expo in Miami. I’m here with Jason from Global Widget. Jason, can you tell us a little bit about the company and its history?

HempBombs.com – Jason Lee: Sure. So the company started a couple of years ago, so we’re about three and a half, four years old right now. We’re based out of Tampa, Florida, manufacturer, everything, all of our products that are in house and we just moved into a brand new 65,000 square foot facility over there. Actually in the process of getting another one as well, just because we’re outgrowing that facility right now.

Leafreport – Courtney Quinn: Wow, that’s exciting.

HempBombs.com – Jason Lee: Yeah.

Leafreport – Courtney Quinn: How do you ensure the product’s quality, purity and cleanliness?

HempBombs.com – Jason Lee: So all of our products are not only tested in-house, but we also distribute to two other third party facilities where they can test that in. All of our products have a little QR code on them, so if anyone’s curious. They want to read the ingredients, see what’s on there. They can go and check and see what’s in there and see what’s not in there.

Leafreport – Courtney Quinn: That’s great. What is your transparency policy?

HempBombs.com – Jason Lee: So I mean, people are more than welcome to come down and see the facility, take a tour, and see how we do everything. Again, I kind of always refer back to the QR codes. It’s going tell you everything that’s in there. But more importantly, whenever we have distributors, consumers, they want to come in, we invite everyone, come take a look at our facility. I mean, we’re excited about it. We’re pumped. So, very transparent.

Leafreport – Courtney Quinn: Very nice. Tell us about the range of products you have and the highlights of each product family.

HempBombs.com – Jason Lee: Well, I mean, as you can see right here, hemp bombs alone has over 175 different SKUs. We also have our new pet line right here, Pure Paws that we just released about a month and a half ago, as well as NatureScript. So I mean, altogether, I couldn’t even tell you how many SKUs we have, but we go anywhere from oils to topicals to vapes, you name it. We’ve probably got it.

Leafreport – Courtney Quinn: Wow. Very nice. What would you say is your best selling product and why is it such a great product?

HempBombs.com – Jason Lee: Oh, easily. The gummies right here, so these gummies right here, we make a couple different types. These actually are what we call our Sleepytime Gummies, so they’ve got a touch of melatonin in them that help you fall asleep naturally. I actually take these every single night to help me fall asleep. The gummies are probably what built the company. I mean they are some of the best tasting gummies on the market, so easily that.

Leafreport – Courtney Quinn: Oh, very nice. What are your recommendations for the beginner user? Someone who has heard about CBD and is wondering where to start, maybe worried about legalities, efficacy or safety issues.

HempBombs.com – Jason Lee: Right, absolutely. Again, I will just go back to the gummies as the easy way to start. Take one or two and see how you feel. Like I said, I take them at nighttime to help me relax, feel good. Then again, we’ve also got, pardon me, we’ve got this pain freeze right here is a little topical. So any type of sore muscles, joints and stuff, rub it on there. It’s a very popular product right there.

Leafreport – Courtney Quinn: Oh, great advice. Thank you. What sets you apart from other companies and brands and what makes you unique?

HempBombs.com – Jason Lee: So, I mean, there’s obviously about a million CBD companies out there right now. That’s a new popular thing. We do everything in-house. We don’t use any co-packers or anything. We manufacture all these products in our facility. Another thing that’s really made us so successful is some of these products or the majority of our products start at a 9.99 price point. So we’re able to get into those introductory markets and get them … gravitate towards those people. So it really helps get our brand out there. So I’d really say that’s huge right there.
