Leafreport – Courtney Quinn: Hi, my name is Courtney Quinn, here with Leaf Report at the USA CBD Expo in Miami. I’m here with Freddy from Day One CBD. Freddy, do you want to tell us about your company and its story?

Day One CBD – Freddy: Yes, so I’m Freddy Cameron and I’m the chief operations officer for the company Day One. Day One is a sparkling 20-milligrams CBD sparkling water beverage. And the Day One name came from the phrase of new beginnings. By drinking our drink, you’re starting something new, you’re taking the first step towards drinking a healthy beverage. Since the name Day One, start something new. New beginnings.

Leafreport – Courtney Quinn: That’s great. I love it. And what would you say makes your product unique and different than other companies?

Day One CBD – Freddy: Yeah, so a couple of things. First of all, our amount of CBD, we’re 20 milligrams of CBD. We use real juice, zero calories, zero sugar. If we’re going to make the perfect drink, it had to have all those different qualities within it. The taste is great. We want to make a really great taste in CBD sparkling water beverage that had all the great benefits of CBD inside of it. 20 milligrams and it has the really great price point better than our competitors.

Leafreport – Courtney Quinn: That’s awesome. How do you see the future of the CBD industry?

Day One CBD – Freddy: Oh, my God. It’s just so … Like right now, it’s trending everywhere. Just CBD everything. I see it getting more and more mainstream. I see big box mass retailers selling it. I see everybody in this country, in the world even, using CBD products in food, beverage, cosmetics, just across the board. The industry is just going to keep growing. I mean, it’s from my understanding, it’s going to be a $22 billion business by 2022. Why not be a part of that business, right? As it grows, product innovation grows, CBD becomes more and more a part of everyday life like any other brand that’s out there. And that’s what we’re looking to be a part of the conversation on all categories for all CBD items.

Leafreport – Courtney Quinn: That’s great. Well, it was nice talking with you and thanks for sharing with us, Freddy.
