Arise Bioscience Interview at the Miami USA CBD Expo

Leafreport – Noa Gans: Hi, everybody. It’s Noa from LiftReport here at the USA CBD Expo in Miami. I’m here with Scott, the president of Arise Bioscience. Hi.

Arise Bioscience – Scott Frohman: Hi, how are you doing?

Leafreport – Noa Gans: I’m doing great. How are you?

Arise Bioscience – Scott Frohman: I’m doing great. Good to be here.

Leafreport – Noa Gans: Good to be here as well. Okay, so tell me about your company and its history.

Arise Bioscience – Scott Frohman: Sure. Well, my company is Arise Bioscience. We have multiple different product lines. Here in front of me is our new line, Original Hemp, that we just recently formulated and are actually showcasing here at the show today. We’ve been in the business of selling hemp CBD products now for about the last three years. We kind of feel like we’re, in this industry, somewhat of a earlier adopter into the space. We’re excited to see how it’s all grown and where we are today, and looking forward to our future.

Leafreport – Noa Gans: Sounds very exciting. Please tell us about your manufacturing process.

Arise Bioscience – Scott Frohman: Great. Our manufacturing processes that we operate in our FDA compliant facilities, we stick with everything that’s manufactured is … our flour is all grown to organic standards and …

Leafreport – Noa Gans: Sounds good. How do you ensure the product’s quality and cleanliness?

Arise Bioscience – Scott Frohman: We do all third party testing and we test for everything, including pesticides and such. We’re here with Green Scientific, actually. We actually post all of our lab results on our website and we really pride ourselves on full transparency. We test every batch multiple different times to really ensure that the quality and that everything is exactly the way it’s supposed to be.

Leafreport – Noa Gans: Great. Tell us about the range of products and highlights of each product’s family?

Arise Bioscience – Scott Frohman: Sure. On our range of products here on the original lineup, we have both tinctures and also capsules. Our tinctures are made with a full spectrum. We keep the THC levels below the 0.3%. On our milligram sense, it goes up to 2000 milligrams, and we have a very robust and a very full spectrum product where we have multiple different cannabinoids in our product. What we’re really excited about is that we also look to enhance them with phenomenal natural flavors. With here, we wind up doing a fresh berry flavor, which is absolutely phenomenal and it makes a experience like so much better for people.

Here, we also did, for people who just want a natural, we also did a natural. We also did a vanilla, which is almost like a vanilla kind of custard. We call it our Vanilla Dream. So that’s on the side. We also developed our products. We’re really confident about that when people try our product set, it works really well. So what we did is we actually came up with these single serves. These retail here, for 33 milligrams, they’re only $4.99, and it gets people to try out our different flavors and try the product. One of the areas that I think we’re most excited about is really, why are people using CBD? We see that most people, it really comes down to either they’re trying to alleviate stress, some pain, or they’re trying to develop better energy, or sleep. Those tend to be …

So what we did is we went out and basically formulated our … What we have here is our stress capsules. How we can make the claim on the stress is because we use things like ashwagandha, for example. We use only the highest qualities of these extra things that actually help alleviate stress. Here we have ashwagandha and here we have 5-HTP and magnesium, which are all really incredible ingredients that wind up helping people to help lower their stress. We put that in, and by utilizing those ingredients with the full spectrum CBD, it helps to enhance the effect of somebody helping them to relieve them of the stress.

One of the other products that I’m particularly excited about here is our sleep formula. The sleep formula, we developed that with a PharmaGABA, as well as melatonin. We’ve enhanced it, and at the end of the day we wind up having our sleep. We have our relief, that has things like tumeric and boswellia, and we have our energy formula with a lot of vitamin B and a bunch of other ingredients that help people with the energy. All of these are also all available in little, small packets for only $4.99 as a retail. People could come and try the different ones, see how well they like it. And then of course, the bottles are available, which we did them in glass. It’s a nice bottle.

We’re really excited, because we’re really looking to make a difference in people’s lives. We’re very passionate about what’s going on in the industry. We see people that really want to get off the things like Xanax or some of the different sleep formulas people are using, prescription sleep formulas, and a lot of different pain medications. We feel that we’re helping to make a real difference from helping people to migrate away from some of the pharmaceutical type of drugs that they need to help them with their everyday life, and really help to move them to products that could really be much more natural and really enhance their wellbeing. So, we really appreciate people like you that come to help expose this movement and what’s taking place in the space. Like I said, we’re really glad to be here.

Leafreport – Noa Gans: Same here. One last question. What would be your advice for the beginner user, the one who heard about CBD and doesn’t know how to start?

Arise Bioscience – Scott Frohman: That’s a great question. I think it’s really important to test things out and try things out, and just start with smaller milligram strengths and then work their way up. You know, I would definitely recommend that people try and go to a store, like a CBD store that specializes, that have experience in helping people to figure out a milligram transfer, a good array of products that they’ve actually gone and tested and looked at to make sure that the quality of the product is there in the first place. Here we have single … a dose here is two capsules, but it probably makes sense for somebody to try one capsule for starters and then move their way to trying two if they weren’t getting their desired effect from the one that they tried.

Leafreport – Noa Gans: So start low and go slow.

Arise Bioscience – Scott Frohman: Yeah, absolutely. Look, you could always step up and take more, but maybe you don’t need that much. Why take more than what you need?
