Dr. Baran Erdik found his medical passion in Cardiology and Internal Medicine, where he now specializes. Since graduating summa cum laude, with a Master’s in Healthcare Administration and Policy from Washington State University, Dr. Erdik found his calling as a consultant for hospitals around the world.
The study of substance abuse disorders has always interested Dr. Erdik, who has compiled an incredible body of work through academic research, and peer-reviewed journals relating to the topic. In his own words, he has “always been fascinated by how a tiny molecule can hold the entire nervous system and the neurons hostage.” As part of his consulting work, he has mentored up and coming addiction specialists on substance use disorders, and their proper treatment protocols.
In his spare time, Dr. Erdik enjoys peer reviewing papers on addiction medicine. He prides himself on working all around the world, and is fluent in German.
