The website has a page dedicated to educating its customers about CBD, how it works, and how it is different from marijuana. In addition, there is an option to download a free CBD guide book with even more education materials. They have a FAQ page with further information about CBD, but do not answer FAQs about shipping and refund on this page.
All of WelCel’s products are third-party tested twice. Each product has a QR code as well as batch number and the lab reports are available on their website. We assessed the report for their 500mg full-spectrum tincture which showed there is 15.91mg of CBD per ml, which is 0.69mg less than listed for a CBD variance of 4%, which is within the acceptable 10% variance. The THC level is undetectable, which is below the acceptable 0.3%. This sample was tested, and passed for heavy metals, solvents, pesticides, and microbes.
Manufacturing Process
WelCel’s farms are located in Kentucky. They use non-GMO hemp in their growing process, which is also sustainable. The farms their hemp is grown on have been in growing for 3-4 generations. All of their products are made in the USA, using CBD that has been extracted via CO2 and third-party tested (twice) for contaminants and potency.. The type of CBD they use is either broad-spectrum, or full-spectrum, which includes the other hemp plant components which create a synergistic, entourage effect in the body. The only difference between the two is whether or not there is THC (up to 0.3%).
WelCel’s products are formulated with other natural herbal ingredients to create CBD blended products. They guarantee that each batch of every product is vegan, mold-free, pesticide-free, and free from heavy metals. The manufacturing facility is in Connecticut and it is GMP-certified.
WelCel Tinctures Overview
There are two CBD tincture options: broad-spectrum or full-spectrum CBD. Both options use CO2 extracted CBD. All bottles are 30ml in size and contain a blend of turmeric oil, peppermint oil, and ginger oil. The broad-spectrum tinctures are available in 600mg of CBD bottle or 1200mg of CBD per bottle. We received our package in a discrete USPS white box. It took about 4 days to receive our package. Inside, our products were neatly packaged with biodegradable packing peanuts.
We contacted customer service via the instant messaging box to ask where their farms were located. We had to reach out a second time as we did not receive a response to our first request. They responded to our second request within an hour. They were comprehensive, complete, and friendly.

Hemp CBD Oil Softgels review
The Hemp CBD Oil Softgels come in a cardboard box with the plastic bottle inside. The label lists the amount of CBD per softgel and bottle (25mg; 750mg), type of CBD (full-spectrum), number of softgels (30), ingredients, and how to use the product. The softgels are made with plant cellulose, so they are vegan-friendly.
There is a QR code on the bottle as well as a batch number. The lab report for this product shows that there is 27.16mg of CBD per softgel, which is 2.16mg more than listed for a CBD variance of 9% which is within the acceptable 10%. The THC level is 0.13% which is below the 0.3% cutoff. There are no results for any contaminants.
The instructions are to take one softgel per day. However, we have not verified these claims.
The softgels are small, firm, and a yellow color. There is no smell or taste to them.
This product is ideal for people who want to experience the entourage effect of full-spectrum CBD, but do not prefer using tinctures.
Hemp CBD Oil Tincture review
WelCel’s tinctures are packaged in a cardboard box. Inside there is a white, opaque glass bottle. The label lists the amount of CBD per bottle (500mg), type of CBD (full-spectrum), size (1 oz), ingredients, and how to use the product. The tincture contains organic coconut oil, organic peppermint, organic ginger, and organic turmeric. It is intended for oral use.
There is both a QR code and batch number on the product. The oil is a deep yellow color and a thin consistency. It has a fragrant smell of ginger, peppermint, and turmeric and has similar undertones in its taste. It leaves a slight cooling sensation on your tongue.
This product is ideal for people who enjoy herbal-infused CBD products for optimal wellness. Keep in mind, we have not verified these claims.
CBD Relief Roll-On review
The CBD Relief Roll-On is packaged in a cardboard box with a plastic roller-top bottle inside. The product rolls on easily from the roller top. It is a clear, thin liquid that has a cooling sensation and smells of menthol, ginger, and cinnamon.
This product is best suited for people who experience aches and pains from injuries or exercise. Keep in mind, we have not verified these claims.
Pet Tincture review
The WelCel Pet Tincture is packaged in a white cardboard box with an opaque, white, glass dropper bottle. The label lists the amount of CBD per bottle (250mg), type of CBD (full-spectrum), bottle size (1 oz) ingredients, and how to use the product. This pet tincture is designed to be given orally to pets, based on their size/weight. It is unflavored and made with coconut oil. The tincture is light yellow, almost clear, thin liquid. It drops easily from the dropper and does not smell.
There is a QR code on the bottle as well as a batch number. The lab report for this product shows that there is 262mg of CBD per bottle, which is 12mg more than listed for a CBD variance of 5% which is within the acceptable 10%. There is no detectable THC which is below the 0.3% cutoff. This sample was tested, and passed for heavy metals, solvents, pesticides, and microbes.
Overall this product is best suited for people who are looking for a full-spectrum pet tincture that is not flavored. Keep in mind, we have not verified any uses for this product.
