There is not a lot of background information available about the founders or the company team, however, there is ample information on their farming practices. Their farms are located in Pueblo, CO, and they grow, process, and bottle all of their products on site. They are not USDA certified but do state they use non-GMO and organic farming practices. To extract the CBD, they use ethanol as an extraction solvent and create both full spectrum CBD and CBD isolate.
All of their products are third party tested for CBD and THC content, and some are also tested for contaminants such as bacteria, solvents, and heavy metals. Because you cannot match up your product’s batch number to the third party lab results, it is difficult to say whether the products you receive are the same ones that were tested on the available third party lab results page.
The price of Veritas Farm’s products is a bit higher than average. Their tinctures range from $0.10 to $0.12 per mg of CBD. Other brand’s CBD products typically fall into $0.05 to $0.10 per mg of CBD for tinctures, therefore they are a bit higher than other brands. The majority of information about the company is focused on growing and farming practices. Background information about when the company was founded and who founded the company is scarce. They do however, offer numerous ways to get in touch with their customer care team, including an email address, live chat option, phone number, and address.
In terms of transparency know a limited amount about the background of the company. The FAQ page is limited as well. There are a few general questions and answers about CBD as well as their return policy posted on the website, however, compared to other CBD companies, their FAQ page is lacking. On the other hand, their product page provides sufficient information, including the type and quantity of CBD in each product, price, ingredients, a detailed description, and more. Plus, there is easy access to their third party testing results. They offer free shipping for orders over $100 and a 30 day money back guarantee.
Veritas third party tests all of its products through Kaycha Labs. We compared the results for their Full Spectrum Tincture 100 ml 1000 mg in peppermint, and found that each bottle has 966mg of CBD, 34mg less than labeled. This results in a CBD variance of 3%. This is less than the acceptable 10% variance. The THC content was 0.04%, which is below the 0.3% limit. This product passed tests for all contaminants, including pesticides, heavy metals, microbes, mycotoxins, and solvents.
Overall, we know little about the company’s founder, team members, and when the company was founded, however, there are ample ways to reach the customer care team. There are detailed product pages, and their third party lab results showed their product’s CBD, THC, and contaminant levels were both accurate and acceptable.

Manufacturing Process
Veritas Farms is located in the southern Rocky Mountains in Pueblo, Colorado. They utilize drip irrigation using mountain spring water to grow their hemp plants. All of their hemp plants are cloned from their mother hemp plant to ensure each crop possesses the same potency and quality as the last. Not only are the hemp plants grown on Veritas Farms, but they are also dried and processed there.
Veritas Farms state that their farming practices are sustainable. They consider the health and well being of the earth, the quality of the hemp plants they grow, and the money they can save their customers equally. While they are not USDA certified, they claim that they use all non-GMO ingredients and organic materials, when possible.
To extract the CBD from their hemp plants, Veritas Farms uses an ethanol extraction method to create full spectrum CBD as well as CBD isolate. When it comes time to create their products, they note that they follow Good Manufacturing Protocols, and everything is grown, extracted, formulated, manufactured, and bottled on their farms. Plus, all of their products are third party tested by independent labs. This step is essential as the FDA does not regulate CBD products. Third party testing ensures the consumer that the quantity of CBD and THC are accurate, and the product is free from contaminants such as heavy metals and pesticides.
We assessed the lab results for the Full Spectrum Hemp Oil Capsules. The results showed that the THC level was 0.09%, well below the 0.3% cutoff. This sample passed tests for contaminants, including microbes, solvents, mycotoxins, heavy metals, and pesticides. The CBD content was 12.85mg per capsule which is 2.85mg more than what is labeled leading to a 29% variance. This exceeds the 10% acceptable range.

Tinctures are available in several flavor options, including citrus, watermelon, peppermint, strawberry, and unflavored. The flavoring is from all natural essential oils and sweetness is imparted to the tincture products with stevia. Veritas also markets a large format CBD tincture, which contains 1000mg of CBD per bottle contained within 100ml of liquid. This large format CBD tincture comes in a choice of peppermint or unflavored. Aside from ethanol extracted CBD oil, the only other ingredient is coconut derived MCT oil. Buying Experience
Shopping for products on Veritas’ website is user friendly and straightforward. All of the products are listed under the shop tab and organized by category. On the product page, you can find information about the product in terms of price, how to use it, the quantity of CBD, and similar products at the bottom. Once you have added your products to your cart, you can see how close you are to qualifying for free shipping which requires an order over $100.
You can check out as a guest, or as a returning customer if you have shopped before. Once we placed our order, we received our products in about three days. The products arrived in a small cardboard box with biodegradable packing peanuts inside and bubble wrap around the tincture, which is packaged in a glass bottle. Overall the packaging was discrete and did not have any markings suggesting that CBD products were enclosed.The gummies were quite melted and sticky when they arrived as the box was left on the doorstep, and the outside temperature was very hot.
We had to contact customer service to access our product’s third party lab results. Although the products have batch numbers on them, the reports online do not. Therefore, it is not possible to match up your product to the lab results listed on the site. We emailed them, and they responded the next morning and provided us with copies of reports for our products. They were quick to answer and were able to help us with all of our needs.

The Full Spectrum Hemp Oil Capsules come in a black plastic tub. There are 30 capsules per container, each with 10mg of full spectrum, ethanol extracted CBD. The capsules are made from vegetable cellulose, which is vegan friendly and gluten free. The only other ingredient was organic, fractionated coconut oil.
The capsules themselves were transparent, and the CBD oil visible inside was amber in color. There was no odor or taste to the capsules. These capsules are intended to be taken orally, as needed. Keep in mind, we have not verified any claims for their use.
We located the third party lab results for this product using the batch number that was printed on the top of the lid. On their website, you may click on the results page of the product you purchased. There was no batch number on the results, which makes it challenging to know if the material you purchased was from the same batch. We contacted customer service via email to obtain our product’s third party lab results. These results showed that each capsule contained 12.85mg of CBD.This was 2.85mg more than specified on the label, leading to a 29% variance. There was 0.09% THC, which is below the 0.3% cutoff, and this sample passed tests for all contaminants: mycotoxins, pesticides, solvents, heavy metals, and microbes.
Hemp Infused Gummies – Wild Berry review
The Hemp Infused Gummies come in a purple and white plastic bag with a resealable top. The bag contains 30 gummies, each with 5mg of ethanol extracted CBD isolate. These gummies are made with gelatin, which means they are not vegan friendly. Also, both natural and artificial flavorings are used to create the gummies. Each gummy contains 5.8g of sugar.
The gummies were red and very squishy. Our gummies were melted together in our package, perhaps because of the temperature outside on delivery day. The gummies were coated in sugar and smelled both earthy and berry-like. They were sweet and had a berry flavor as well. There were no directions for use on the package.
We were unable to access the third party lab results on the website and had to email customer service, who then provided us with the report. The results showed no detectable THC. The sample passed tests for contaminants, including mycotoxins, pesticides, solvents, heavy metals, and microbes. Each gummy contained 9.2mg of CBD, which was 4.2mg more than the 5mg stated on the label. This gives us a variance of 84%, much higher than the acceptable 10%.
Full Spectrum Hemp Oil 250mg – Unflavored review
The Full Spectrum Hemp Oil comes in a frosted black bottle with a child proof dropper lid. This tincture contained 250mg of full spectrum, ethanol extracted CBD, and formulated in 30ml of liquid. This means each ml contained 8.3mg of CBD. The only other ingredient was organic, fractionated coconut oil. The oil itself was clear with a slight yellow tinge. It had no odor and was unflavored. The only taste was of very mild coconut oil. The oil drops quickly from the dropper, and its consistency was close to that of water. This product is intended to be taken orally at 1ml per day. Keep in mind, this use has not been verified by us.
This product has a batch number printed on it in black, which made it hard to see. The lab results online are not associated with a batch number, so we contacted customer service to request the third party lab results. The report showed that the hemp oil contained 244.2mg of CBD per bottle, which was 5.8mg less than the 250mg listed on the bottle. This gives a variance of 2%, well below the acceptable 10% variance. The THC level was 0.04%, which was less than the 0.3% cutoff. This sample was not tested for contaminants.
