The report showed there is 335.05mg of CBD per bottle, which is 35.05mg more than listed. This calculates out to a CBD variance of 12%. This is above the 10% acceptable variance. There was no detectable THC or contaminants such as microbials, pesticides, solvents, heavy metals, or mycotoxins.
Manufacturing Process
Paw CBD uses non-GMO hemp on farms located in the USA. They do not specify which states their farms are located in, or if they are licensed hemp farms. They quality check their raw ingredients and final products using ISO certified third party testing. This ensures their hemp is free from contaminants and contains the desired amounts of CBD and other cannabinoids. Their manufacturing facilities are also GMP compliant.
To extract CBD from the hemp, they use CO2 extraction. CO2 extraction is regarded to be the cleanest, and highest standard extraction method for CBD as it does not use any other chemicals or solvents. All of the THC is removed with pressure to create broad spectrum CBD. This type of CBD contains all the synergistic terpenes, hemp cannabinoids, and phytonutrients, except for THC.
Paw CBD’s products are formulated by a veterinarian with the unique needs of animals in mind. Their formulas are free from chemicals, synthetic ingredients, and unnecessary preservatives.
PAW CBD CBD Tinctures Overview
Paw CBD offers tinctures for both dogs and cats. The dog tinctures come in baked cheese or peanut butter flavor and potencies of 150mg, 300mg, 750mg, 1500mg, or 3000mg of CBD.
There are also Calming Tinctures for dogs with 250mg or 500mg of CBD. These have a blueberry flavor along with melatonin and relaxing herbs. There are several edible products offered for both dogs and cats. For dogs, there are CBD treats that are flavored with baked cheese, or peanut butter. There are also Calming chews with turkey flavor, Hip & Joint chews, and Soft chews available which are blended with herbal or vitamin ingredients. For cats, there are two soft chew options: Kidney support or Regular. Each of the above options come with 150mg, 300mg, or 600mg of broad spectrum CBD per package, all with 30 treats. There are 16oz peanut butter tubs as well, with 150mg, 300mg, or 600mg of CBD per tub.
PAW CBD Topicals Overview
There is one topical product from Paw CBD, their Pet Balm for Dogs. It contains 500mg of broad spectrum, CO2 extracted CBD and is offered in a 2oz portion.

CBD Treats for Dogs review
We received the baked cheese flavored CBD treats for dogs. They come in a plastic bag with a resealable top.The label lists the amount of CBD (300mg per bag; 10mg per treat), flavor (baked cheese), type of CBD (broad spectrum, CO2 extracted), ingredients, and how to use the product. The treats contain flour, oats, honey, oil, eggs, and natural cheese flavor. They are human grade, non-GMO and made in the USA. The direction for dogs 25lbs to 50lbs is one treat per day. Leafreport has not verified these claims.
There is a sticker with a lot number and expiration date. We assessed the third party lab report for this product which shows there is 12.33mg of CBD per treat, which is 2.33mg more than listed, leading to a CBD variance of 23%. This variance is above the acceptable 10%. There is no detectable THC, microbials, pesticides, solvents, heavy metals, or mycotoxins in this sample.
The treats are thin squares that look similar to crackers. They smell of cheese and are crispy and snap with minimal pressure.

CBD Soft Chews for Cats review
We received the chicken and catnip cat soft chews. The chews are packaged in a plastic tub. The label lists the amount of CBD (150mg per tub; 1mg per treat), flavor (chicken and catnip), type of CBD (broad spectrum, CO2 extracted), ingredients, and how to use the product. The chew are made with chicken, pea flour, garbanzo bean flour, and other all natural ingredients. Cats up to 12lbs can have five chews per day. Leafreport has not verified these claims.
There is a lot number and expiration date on the bottom. We assessed the third party lab report for this product which shows there is 181.8mg of CBD per container, which is 31.8mg more than listed for a CBD variance of 21%. This variance is above the acceptable 10%. There is no detectable THC, microbials, pesticides, solvents, or heavy metals in this sample. Mycotoxins content was not tested.
The treats small cylinders that are soft and crumble with medium pressure. They possess an herbal smell like catnip and or a smell similar to meaty chicken.
This product sells for $24.99 and with 150mg of CBD per bag, each mg is priced at $0.17.
CBD Balm review
We received the CBD Balm for pets. It comes in an aluminum tin and the label lists the amount of CBD per tin (500mg), size (2oz), ingredients, and instructions for use. The balm is made with olive oil, shea butter, beeswax and MCT oil. The instructions are to massage gently into skin, as needed. However, we have not verified these claims.
We accessed the third party lab report by looking up the lot number. The report showed there is 815.5mg of CBD per tin, which is 315.5mg more than listed leading to a CBD variance of 63%. This is much higher than the 10% acceptable variance. There was no detectable THC. This sample was tested for and passed for microbials, pesticides, solvents, heavy metals, and mycotoxins.
The balm is a thick, dense balm. It is a yellow color and has a slight odor reminiscent of beeswax. It has a waxy, soft finish on the skin.

The Feline CBD oil comes in a frosted, brown glass bottle with a dropper lid. The oil is blended with MCT oil. The directions for use specify 1ml for cats larger than 15lbs. Keep in mind, we have not verified this use.
