Manufacturing Process
Lazarus Naturals has hemp farms located in Oregon which are organic and sustainable. All steps of hemp farming to product packaging are done by Lazarus, without the need for middlemen. After the hemp is harvested, it is air-dried, then tested for contaminants such as heavy metals and pesticides. Next, they use cryogenic ethanol to extract the CBD and filter the extract for impurities. They create full-spectrum, broad-spectrum and CBD isolate. All products are formulated with organic ingredients and made and packaged in-house. Packaging is made with post-consumer waste and they plan to be carbon neutral by 2030 and stop all use of non-biodegradable waste and carbon emissions by 2040. Lastly, products are sent to third-party labs for purity and potency testing which includes microbes, heavy metals, pesticides, and solvents. All certificate of analysis reports are posted online.
Lazarus Naturals CBD Tinctures Overview
Lazarus Naturals has several tincture options which come in potency options of 20mg of CBD/ml (standard potency) and 50mg of CBD/ml (high potency). Bottles come in 15ml, 30ml, 60ml and 120ml. The directions are to start with 50ml (1ml) and wait two hours before redosing. The oil is a deep amber color and smells and tastes of rich hemp terpenes with very earthy undertones.

We used the batch number to locate the certificate of analysis which showed there is 55.7mg of CBD/ml which is 4.3mg more CBD than listed for a CBD variance of 7% which is within the acceptable 10% variance. We received and reviewed four gummy products: the sleep gummies, elderberry gummies, energy gummies and calm gummies. All are full-spectrum CBD, except the energy gummies which are THC-free. All are made with cryogenic ethanol extracted CBD. The gummies we received come in either a 10 pack plastic sleeve, or a 40 count clear plastic bottle. They are all vegan and made with supporting herbal and natural ingredients. The sleep contains CBN, CBG, chamomile, lemon balm, and passionflower. The elderberry contains vitamin C, D, zinc and elderberry. The energy contains caffeine, L-theanine, and B12 and the calm has l-theanine and ashwagandha. All gummies have 50mg of CBD per two gummies, except the sleep which contains 30mg of CBD per two gummies. Each gummy is a flat square shape and coated with sugar. They each have a fruity and sweet taste with no bitterness or earthy undertones.

The bottle is 100ml and contains 2000mg of full-spectrum, cryogenic ethanol CBD along with menthol, cinnamon, glycerin, capsaicin, sweet basil, sweet orange, eucalyptus, and geranium among other ingredients. The directions are to apply to problem areas. The cream is a light orange color and has a thin, gel-like consistency. It has a potent menthol and spicy smell and absorbs quickly into the skin. The sensation on your skin is cooling at first, then warming with a slight tingle.

There is 3,000mg of full-spectrum, cryogenic ethanol CBD with organic beeswax, jojoba oil, sunflower oil, mango, shea butter, lanolin, and lavender. The directions are to apply as needed to soothe and relax. The balm is a medium yellow color and very firm. With pressure, you can melt some onto your fingertips for application. The balm is smooth and feels soft on the skin with a light lavender smell.
