They ship to 40 different countries and offer very competitive prices on their products. Plus, they have a variety of bundles which can save you even more money. Their tinctures range from €0.05 to €0.08 per mg of CBD, which is very competitive in the field.
They use organic and non-GMO farming and focus on regenerative farming practices which means the environment is protected as well. They in house test their products, which is not as transparent as third party testing. They do test 10% via third party testing. We were also unable to find some of our products test results, which makes it a challenge to accurately check potency and purity.
Lastly, Formula swiss offers a wide range of products including tinctures in multiple flavors, potencies, and bases, pet products, topicals, and vape products.

Formula Swiss tests their products in house for CBD and THC concentrations. They third party test 10% of batches as a quality control measure. This process is not ideal as third party testing is the gold standard as is it objective and more reliable. Plus, they do not assess contaminant levels.
We assessed the results for 3% (300mg) CBD Oil. The results were from in house testing and showed there was 3.43% (343mg) of CBD and 0.13% THC. This means there is a CBD variance of 14% with 43mg more CBD than listed. This variance is above the acceptable 10% cutoff. The THc level is within the max 0.2% that is listed. There are no results for contaminants such as pesticides, solvents, heavy metals, or microbials.
Manufacturing Process
All of Formula Swiss’ hemp is grown in greenhouses in Switzerland without the use of pesticides or any chemicals and follows GMP protocols. Plus, they use all organic, non-GMO hemp seeds to cultivate their hemp plants. At this time, there is no USDA organic certification, however keep in mind, they are not a USA based company. During the growing process, there are no artificial lights or air conditioning, which means less energy consumption and environmental impact. During hemp processing, there is no added heat, which again, saves on energy. Their packaging is also eco-friendly, made from sustainable RSO licensed wood.
Formula Swiss uses a proprietary extraction process of CO2 extraction and 95% decarboxylation to produce full spectrum CBD. They ensure their products’ potency and safety with in house and independent lab testing. The lab results available on their website are from in house testing.
They register all of them with the European Union. Each is labeled with a Pharmacy Product Numbers (PPN). Cosmetic products are registered with the CPNP registry. All of their products are made using Good Documentation Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices. All products are packaged in eco-friendly containers and boxes, in alignment with the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).
Formula Swiss carries a variety of CBD oils, as well as CBD combo drops with CBC, CBG, or CBN. They also carry pet CBD Oil, CBD vape products, and CBD skin care products. Note that all prices are in Euros, not USD.
Formula Swiss CBD Oils Overview
The CBD oils from Formula Swiss come in a few different bases, olive oil, hemp seed oil and MCT oil. Each bottle contains 10ml. The olive oil and hemp seed oil options come in CBD potency options ranging from 3% (300mg) to 30% (3000mg). The MCT options come in unflavored, strawberry, vanilla, and orange and potency options ranging from 3% (300mg) to 25% (2500mg). There is an option of 0% THC or <0.2% THC for each potency. They also offer a RAW CBD Oil in MCT, which is decarboxylated to 60 to 70% CBD (vs 95% in others), which maintains a high natural level of CBDA. This oil is sold in 10ml portions and comes in 5% (500mg) to 20% (2000mg) with <0.2% THC. In addition to CBD oils, they have cannabinoid combination oils, CBC + CBD Oil (100mg; 400mg), CBG + CBD Oil (100mg; 300mg), and CBN + CBD Oil (100mg; 300mg). These are sold in a 10ml size and contain <0.2% THC. These are available as a single bottle, or in bundles of 6 or 10.

Formula Swiss CBD Oil for Pets Overview
The Pet CBD Oil Drops come in a base of olive oil, hemp seed oil, or MCT. These options are 10ml and you can choose from 3% (300mg CBD) or 5% (500mg). There is a 0% or <0.2% THC option for each. Formula Swiss is available in over 40 countries. There is a drop down menu where you can select your country, if available, or select “International.” Since the United States is not an option, we chose the “International” option.
When shopping, it is easy to see the different products they offer, along with the price and information about what is in the products and how to use them. It is important to note that all the prices are not is USD, but in Euros. Therefore, you may want to calculate the exchange rate to see what the product will cost in USD.
The products ship via UPS express, which costs 9.95 EUR and the products ship within one business day. You do not have to pay any additional custom duties and VAT from Switzerland, as these are already worked into the price. You can expect your order to arrive in 1 to 5 business days. We received ours in 4 business days.
The shipment arrived in a UPS bag. Inside, there was a plain white bag, and a Formula Swiss labeled bag inside of that one. The packaging was discrete and did not reveal that CBD was inside. When our products arrived, the lid of the skin cream was chipped as the products did not have a lot of cushioning.
We could not locate a few of our product’s lab results and reached out to customer service via the email box. They replied in about one day, however it took about a week to get a final answer. They third party test 10% of their products, and the majority of the remainder are tested in house. They did offer to specifically test our batches via third party testing.

5% CBD Oil Drops – Strawberry review
The 5% CBD Oil Drops in strawberry from Formula Swiss comes in a cardboard box that is labeled with the amount of CBD per bottle (5%; 500mg), CBD type (full spectrum), size (10ml), flavor (strawberry), ingredients, and directions. The packaging also indicates that the product is all natural, certified as originating from organic seeds (does not say who certified), CO2 extracted, triple lab tested, and <0.2% THC. Inside, the oil is in a glass amber bottle with a dropper lid. The directions indicate it is intended for topical use, however we have not verified these claims.
The oil is made with MCT oil, and some sort of strawberry flavoring, which is not listed. The oil is a medium yellow color and thin in consistency. It drops easily from the dropper, which lacked measuring lines. It smells and tastes like strawberry. When rubbed on the skin, it absorbs well and leaves a slight residue.
There is a sticker on the bottom of the box that shows the batch number, that there is 5.73% (573mg) of CBD, and 0.15% THC. This means there is 73mg more CBD than listed for a CBD variance of 15%, which is above the acceptable 10%. The THC level is less than 0.2%. There are lab results on their website, however, we could not locate this batch number. Also, these results are from in house testing and they do not have the results of tests for contaminants.
3% CBD Oil Drops review
Formula Swiss’ 3% CBD Oil Drops are packaged in a cardboard box. The box is labeled with the amount of CBD per bottle (3%; 300mg), CBD type (full spectrum), size (10ml), ingredients, and directions. The packaging shows that the product is all natural, originates from certified organic seeds (does not say who certified), CO2 extracted, triple lab tested, and <0.2% THC. The oil itself is in a glass amber bottle with a dropper lid. The directions indicate it is intended for topical use, however we have not verified these claims.

The oil’s texture is similar to that of olive oil and it tastes and smells of earthy and of fragrant terpenes. When rubbed on the skin, it absorbs easily and leaves a soft finish.

1% Pet CBD Oil Drops – Chicken review
The 1% Pet CBD Oil Drops in Chicken from Formula Swiss are packaged in a cardboard box. The box indicates the amount of CBD per bottle (1%; 100mg), CBD type (full spectrum), size (10ml), flavor (chicken), ingredients, and directions. The packaging also indicates that the product is all natural, the plants were grown from certified organic seeds (does not say who certified), CO2 extracted, triple lab tested, and <0.2% THC.
The directions are simply to shake well before use. The ingredients are listed as MCT oil, and the chicken flavoring agent is not specified. The oil comes in a glass amber bottle with a dropper lid.
The oil is a light yellow color and is thin in consistency. It smells “meaty” and drops easily from the dropper, which lacks measuring lines.
There is no sticker or batch number on this product, so we could not assess the lab results. Customer service did not supply us with results either.
CBD Cream – Skin review
Formula Swiss’ Skin CBD Cream comes in a cardboard box that is labeled with the amount of CBD per bottle (300mg), ingredients, and directions. The cream is made with mangifera seed butter, oryza sativa bran wax, castor oil, and several more natural oils and plant extracts. It’s directions for use are to apply generously and massage gently. This use has not been verified by us.
Inside, the cream is in a glass tub with a plastic lid. It’s texture is similar to a soft balm that can easily be scooped from the tub and rubbed into your skin. It has a nondescript herbal smell and leaves a soft feeling on your skin when it’s applied.
There is a batch number on the product, however we could not find the lab results on the website. We reached out to customer service via email for help. They provided a print out with details such as the weight and color of the product, but no lab information.
CBD Lip Balm – Lavender review
Formula Swiss’ CBD Lip Balm in lavender comes in a plastic tube, typical of most lip balms. The lip balm is made with a blend of oils including shea butter, oryza, and cocos nucifera. It’s directions are to apply to your skin and lips as needed. Keep in mind, we have not verified these claims. There is 50mg total of CBD in each tube.
The lip balm itself is a light yellow and a soft, creamy texture. It glides onto the lips easily and leaves a soft finish. There is a light, pleasant lavender smell.
There is a batch number on the product, however we could not find the lab results on the website. We reached out to customer service via email for help, however they did not supply us with a copy of these results.
