The Bottom Line
Evolution CBD is a water soluble, nanoparticle CBD company. They use ethanol to extract their CBD and proprietary technology to make nanoparticles for significantly enhanced absorption. There is little information about who makes up the company, however, they were founded in 2016 and are located in Reno, Nevada.
Although they claim to third party test all of their batches of products, we were only able to locate one of the five products’ lab reports of the products we received. Customer service was unable to help us with this issue. Also, they do not test for contaminants in their lab testing.
Evolution CBD carries a broad range of products, including edibles, tinctures, pet products, and topicals. Their price points tend to be on the higher side. Their water soluble CBD tinctures are $0.10 to $0.20 per mg of CBD. Many comparable products are between $0.05 to $0.10 per mg of CBD. It should be noted that Evolution CBD uses nanoparticle CBD, which cannot be directly compared to oil based products as they do not undergo the same processing.

Evolution CBD was founded in 2016 with the mission of educating people about the power of CBD and CBD extracts. They are known for creating the first water soluble CBD product. They pride themselves on putting their customers first and using the most innovative technology in their manufacturing and processing. Unfortunately, there is no information on the members of the Evolution CBD team.
Their headquarters are in Reno, Nevada. To reach their customer care team, you can use the phone number, email, or message box on their contact page. They also list their mailing address.
Their website has a comprehensive FAQ page that provides ample information about their CBD manufacturing process details, how to take their CBD, shipping, and more. They offer full refunds if you are not completely satisfied for 45 days after purchase.
Evolution CBD claims to third party test every batch of their products and posts their lab reports online. We assessed the lab results for the Replenishing Face Cream using the batch number on the side. Reviewing the lab report shows 71.6mg of CBD, which is 11.6mg more than listed for a CBD variance of 19%. This is above the acceptable 10% variance cut off. There is no detectable THC. This sample was not tested for contaminants.

Manufacturing Process
Evolution uses only non-GMO, industrial hemp plants for their CBD products. Their farms are US based and located in Kansas, Kentucky, Colorado, and Montana. To extract their CBD, they use ethanol based extraction followed by a nanotechnology process. They offer both broad spectrum and full spectrum CBD products.
Their proprietary nanotechnology creates extremely small CBD particles (nanoparticles) that are said to improve absorption rates. Their nanoparticles are created without using chemicals or phosphates and are 60um in size, which is smaller than the 100um size required to be considered a nanoparticle. When CBD particles are broken down into nanoparticles, they become soluble in water, which allows them to bind to water based molecules in the bloodstream. This means that the nanoparticles used in Evolution CBD can be absorbed into the bloodstream more effectively. Their website states that nanoparticle CBD’s bioavailability is 80% compared to oil based CBD with a bioavailability of 6%. It should be noted that they do not cite any research sources to back up these claims.
Evolution CBD hemp has been certified by the US Hemp Authority. All of Evolutions CBD’s products are third party tested to ensure potency and quality.
Evolution CBD Oils Overview
Evolution CBD’s CBD oils are ethanol extracted, water soluble, nanoparticle tinctures. They offer both THC free and full spectrum oils in cherry limeade, grape, hemp, lemon or pina colada flavors and, extra strength, as well as terpene rich options in cinnamon, hemp, and strawberry Banana flavors. Sizes range from 5ml to 30ml. Tinctures are in a base of reverse osmosis water. Their 3 in 1 oil can be used sublingually or in drinks and comes in the flavors blueberry moon, hemp, cherry limeade, strawberry-banana, tropical punch, and watermelon.

Buying Experience
The buying process is fairly straightforward. All of the products are under the shop tab and categorized by product type. Once you have added the products you wish to purchase to your cart, you must create a login to check out. Here you have an option to subscribe to their newsletter for discounts and product updates. After creating an account, you will have to manually go back to your cart to then check out. You are not automatically redirected, which is a bit confusing. The last step is putting in your billing and shipping information.
Shipping is through UPS Expedited Mail Innovations, UPS Sure Post, UPS Next Day Air, and UPS Second Day Air. Our products arrived in 2 days in a brown, discrete, cardboard box. Inside all the products were wrapped in either bubble wrap and/or brown paper for protection.
We contacted customer service through their messaging system to ask where we could find the lab reports that matched our product’s batch numbers. Although we indicated that we could not find any lab reports on their site that represented our specific products, their care team responded with a generic, “all lab reports are posted on our site.” Although they answered quickly (within a day), unfortunately, they did not assist with our question or provide the lab reports.

Evolution CBD Capsules review
The Evolution CBD Capsules are packaged in a plastic, amber colored bottle with a screw top that is not child safe. The label lists the number of capsules (30), mg of CBD per capsule (15 mg), and the total amount of CBD per bottle (450 mg). The capsules are made with vegetable cellulose, which is vegan friendly, along with coconut derived MCT oil. The CBD is ethanol extracted, water soluble, nanoparticle CBD. The label suggested to take twice daily with food or as needed. Keep in mind, we have not verified this use.
The capsules are dark amber in color and the texture of a gel capsule. They do not have any smell or taste.
There is a QR code and a batch number on a sticker on the side of the bottle. There was no lab report available that matched this product’s batch number, and customer service was unable to provide it to us. We assessed the posted lab report which showed that there is 18.9 mg of CBD per capsule, which is 3.9 mg more than listed leading to a CBD variance of 26%. This is above the acceptable 10% variance cut off. There is 0.24% THC which is less than the allowable 0.3%. This sample was not tested for contaminants.
Evolution CBD Gummies review
The Evolution CBD Gummies are packaged in a plastic, amber colored bottle with a screw top that is not child safe. The label lists the number of gummies (30) mg of CBD per capsule (10 mg), and the total amount of CBD per bottle (300 mg). The gummies are manufactured using glucose syrup, sugar, gelatin, and artificial colors and flavors. They are not vegan friendly due to the gelatin content. The CBD is ethanol extracted, water soluble, nanoparticle CBD. There are no directions for use on the label.
The gummies are green, red, and yellow in color and in the shape of small bears. They are quite chewy and have a sweet, fruity flavor. There is no strong smell to them or overwhelming hemp taste.

Evolution CBD Water Soluble Tincture – Hemp review
We received the Evolution CBD Water Soluble Tincture in Hemp. It is contained in an amber glass bottle with a dropper lid which is not child safe. The label lists the size (30 ml), mg of CBD per serving (5 mg per half dropper), and total amount of CBD per bottle (300 mg). The tincture is water based with CBD that is an ethanol extracted, water soluble nanoparticle. The directions are to use half a dropper in 8oz of liquid, twice daily or as needed. We have not verified these claims.
The CBD tincture is a cloudy white color. It has a pungent smell and tastes of hemp. It leaves a bit of a bitter aftertaste when dropped directly onto the tongue.

The CBD is an ethanol extracted, water soluble, nanoparticle. The directions are to base the dose on the weight of the dog and to give it twice a day. We have not verified these claims.

The ingredients include sweet almond oil, mineral oil, MCT oil, and lavender essential oil. The CBD is an ethanol extracted, water soluble nanoparticle. The directions are to use a pea sized amount. Keep in mind, we have not verified these claims.
This CBD cream is white and of medium consistency. It smells of lavender but is not overpowering. Also, it absorbs into the skin easily and does not leave any residue.
