My review of ReThink CBD is fair, and there is room for improvement, in regards to their third party purity testing, customer service, and pricing. Although their potency variances match the labeled milligrams for most of the products ordered, all products in the order were not purity tested, to the best of our knowledge. They do offer free shipping with a $50 order minimum and include a 30 day money back satisfaction guarantee.
They offer non-GMO, organic CBD products that are available in tinctures, softgels, edibles, topicals, skin care, and a pet item. Their products range from $9.95 to $178.99, with an average price point of $.15, meaning that their prices are higher than average when compared to other organic brands in the market.
The accuracy variances for these organic ReThink products vary concerning potency, with one product testing above the 10% variance limit, and three products testing lower than the level allowed. In addition, while most of their products did undergo all standard purity testing for residuals, solvents, pesticides, heavy metals, and other contaminants, some were not purity tested. No synthetic ingredients are used in these organic ReThink CBD products, according to the company.

Founded in 2017, the company is based in Miami, Florida and Michael Volovitz is their President of Sales. Their mission statement on the “About” page online says they are actively striving to be “the” CBD oil experts through quality products and excellent customer service.
Transparency
Independent CBD testing is a vital quality and safety control measure to ensure that the labeled amounts of CBD and THC are very close to the contents of each final product a customer receives. All of the products in my ReThink order were third party tested for CBD and THC potency, but some were not tested for purity, according to the lab reports available online.

Accuracy
Using each product’s corresponding product page, it was easy to match my products to the independent third party lab reports provided. As far as the highest accuracy variance in this order, the 500 mg tincture demonstrated a 24.08% accuracy variance with 620.4 mg of CBD, which is above the acceptable 10% limit:
The lowest accuracy variance was found in the 750 mg broad spectrum gelcaps, which tested at 738 total mg of CBD, for 1.6% variance, which is below the 10% variance limit allowed. All products were confirmed by third party testing to contain less than the legal 0.3% limit of THC; however, some purity tests for heavy metals, residual pesticides, solvents, and yeasts and molds were not available at this time, according to the independent third party lab reports.

After successfully building a loyal customer base over the past few years, ReThink recently expanded into the skin care and beauty market in February 2020, upon receiving numerous requests to add more products to their already impressive catalog. According to the company website, they stay focused on quality, all natural products that are crafted from their pesticide free, phytocannabinoid rich hemp. They plan on offering even more CBD delivery methods and formulations by Speongvif 2021, per company press releases.
Manufacturing Process
ReThink is a legal, authorized grower of organic U.S. hemp, using sustainable, organic farming practices. Their hemp is extracted using a supercritical CO2 process, and then some products are further formulated with easily digestible MCT oil as the carrier for maximum bioavailability, while the softgels and hydro tincture are formulated using a nanoemulsion process that renders these products water soluble.
After formulation, the next step is independent third party CBD testing, which is an important quality and safety control measure utilized by ReThink to ensure that the labeled potency of CBD and THC matches the contents. They do conduct independent potency lab testing for all of their organic products and post the results online. At this time, however, purity test reports for some items in the ReThink product catalog are unavailable to consumers.
They offer broad spectrum, non-GMO, organic CBD products that are available in tinctures, topicals, softgels, edible gummies and liquids, pet products, and skin care. Their products range from 10 mg to 1000 mg, and are higher priced than comparable brands, with an average price point of $.15 per mg of CBD.
CBD ReThink CBD Tinctures Overview
These broad spectrum organic tinctures are CO2 extracted, and the company suggests that consumers start with a dose of ½ to 1 full dropper, which is 1 ml. There are no visible measuring marks on the dropper, however, which makes precise dosing tricky. They are formulated with MCT oil for easy digestion. The ReThink tinctures come in natural and in two flavored varieties, and are recommended by the company for oral or sublingual use only.

The website was user friendly and easy to navigate. Each product page provides comprehensive product information for each item in that category, as well as ingredients, potencies, and suggested uses. There is an easy way to shop all products using the “Home” link located in the main menu. ReThink’s customer support team is available for questions via email, online messaging, and phone. Customer service was called, messaged online twice, and emailed twice about their hemp quality and regular discounts. There was no answer when the listed phone number was called. A reply was received after a week of waiting, telling me that ReThink does not currently offer any regular discounts; however, they did create a custom discount code for one time use. In addition, ReThink did immediately respond with a company auto-mailer acknowledging receipt of my message:
All of the third party lab results available to consumers for the ReThink CBD product catalog are located under the “Certificate of Analysis” link on each corresponding product page online, as mentioned earlier. The potency for CBD and THC was independently tested for each product and purity testing was passed for foreign contaminants, pesticides, and heavy metals on most products. However, purity test reports for the dog treats and the anti-wrinkle topical cream were unavailable at this time.

A shipping confirmation with tracking number was received. The order arrived within 4 business days via FedEx in a plain box that was discreet. The products were securely packaged and the box contained individually wrapped items.

Like all of the other CBD products from ReThink, these softgels are organic, natural, vegan, and non-GMO. They are formulated using MCT oil for maximum bioavailability. These broad spectrum softgels are golden yellow in color and have a soft texture. Each CO2 extracted capsule had 24.6 mg of CBD per 25 mg labeled capsule, for a total of 738 mg total CBD per bottle and a 1.6% variance. A non detectable amount of THC was confirmed on the third party lab results, and these softgels passed all purity testing.
CBD Softgels with Melatonin, 750 mg, 25 mg each, 30 count (4 mg melatonin) review
These “sleep support” softgels are organic, natural, vegan, and non-GMO. They undergo a CO2 extraction process and are formulated using MCT oil for maximum bioavailability. These broad spectrum softgels are a yellow green color and have a soft texture. These gelcaps contain 4 mg of melatonin, which is scientifically proven to aid with sleep, but we have not tested this for ourselves.
CBD Tincture, 500 mg, 30 ml review
This organic CO2 extracted broad spectrum tincture is golden yellow in appearance, with a typical oil consistency. The company recommended serving size is 1 ml, but there are no visible measuring marks on the dropper, so precise dosing is tricky. The natural flavor is not overpowering, with no grassy or herbal aftertaste. This product tested at 620.4 total mg of CBD, which represents a 24.08% variance, well over the 10% limit allowed. Less than .03% THC was detected, and purity tests were unavailable at this time, or were not conducted.
CBD Pet Treats, 40 mg, 2 mg each, 20 count review
These CO2 extracted, organic pet treats are square shaped and moist, with a soft texture. Each oral, broad spectrum treat tested at 39.16 mg of CBD in each 40 mg serving. This equals 783.2 total mg of CBD, which constitutes a 2.1% variance, well below the acceptable 10% limit. While no THC was detected, purity test reports for this product were unavailable at this time.

These CO2 extracted gummy edibles are semi-round shaped, and brightly colored, with a firmer gummy texture and consistency. With both sweet and tart flavors, these are not overly sugary. They are juicy and taste like fresh fruits, such as orange, lemon, and grape. One gummy drop tested at 10.6 mg of CBD per serving. With 318 mg total CBD, the gummy drops tested slightly higher than the 300mg stated on the label, but remained under the acceptable 10% variance at 6%. A non detectable amount of THC was confirmed, and all purity tests for contaminants were passed.
